This program explains to students the essential strategies needed for understanding and managing an organization and its human resources in the area of health and safety administration by giving examples of the strategic planning and management leadership of successful companies.

It prepares students for managerial positions that require a solid foundation in managing complex safety and health issues in the workplace. Students learn regulatory financial and social relations that support environmental health and safety initiatives. The faculty also strengthens students’ ability to influence risk perception with appropriate communication strategies and to create effective working relationships with professionals.
